Pilgrim Paths

Pilgrim Paths is a series of circular walks offering an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the countryside around the villages of the Bicester and Islip Deanery while following routes that link groups of two, three or four churches.

Below you will find leaflets to guide you – highlighting points of special interest in each church, recommended routes and maps, and short prayers and meditations to say along the way.  These walks may include road walking through villages, footpaths through woods and fields, and negotiating some stiles.  You may also encounter sheep, cattle or horses grazing in the fields.

While some leaflets are available in churches, they can also be downloaded here.   If you prefer to go paperless, download the A4 version and use it on your phone.
